Often they are the best prepared to deal with a supernatural incident, but also the least likely to do so openly. A bit brief, but then it's been detailed many times over in many other books.

The Arcanum - The main academic Hunter organization, obsessed with collecting knowledge of the supernatural. Each of these entries contains a brief description, some information about its membership, and two sample NPCs. Broadly, the entries are grouped into Knowledge Seekers, Power Seekers, Thrill Seekers, Shadow Groups, and everyone else. I figure I'll give a brief overview, with some pointer references. A lot of this is pulling up groups from a variety of past sourcebooks, and looks to be the most crossover heavy chapter.
